We found out this afternoon that Gary will be coming home tomorrow!! It surprised him even. The surgeon came to see him this afternoon, and after looking him over told him that there was no point keeping him there. After he goes through all the discharge stuff to learn what to do with himself, he will be let go. YEAH!!

Old Pics
Sorry that I haven't updated pictures in a while life has been a little crazy. If you are looking for an update on Gary he was moved out of CVICU and we are all really excited about that. We will let you know when he is up to visitors. For everyone else I am going to post some pics that are a little late but better late than never.

This is Ryan at his school finishing his snack. They had awards the day before school got out and Ryan got the most improved attitude.

This is Ryan giving a gift to one of the Aids in his classroom Miss Kimmie. She was with him the entire time he was at school and he really liked her.

Ryan being a MONSTER

We put our kids to work early.

Played with his cup and bowl and didn't care about anyone or anything else

Lilly got on the bike all by herself and she was really excited.

Ryan and Kayli watching TV togeather how cute is that:)

So Ryan has helped Blaine change the breaks on our cars a few times. So yesterday while I was at my grandparents house Ryan went out to the grage and I called him and told him it was time to go and walked out in the grage and found this. Ryan took tools out of the tool box and was fixing gma & gpa' car.
"Want to help?" Can you say it's been Ryaniozed

Thats Great:)

Monday Night Good News Update
Blaine and I just got back from the hospital and Gary is doing GREAT:) finally good news. He was even up walking today. He was pushing a wheel chair and had a nurse and a PT walking on either side of him and the PT asked him where are you going? he said I don't know wherever. They told him that he had gone further than they usually take patients on their first walk. He is completely off of all IV medications and is not on any pain meds. The nurses keep asking him and he said that he isn't in any pain. They are ready to move him out of ICU the only thing is that their are no beds available yet. So one more day in ICU hopefully. We are still asking for NO visitors yet this is his request he is just not up to it yet. He has his appetite back and is eating good and he has lost about 30 pounds. I guess that is what happens when you don't eat for 8 days not the diet we recommend.
So all in all it has been a good day and he is feeling better than yesterday and that is all that we can ask for.

Sunday Night Update
Blaine and I didn't go and see Gary today however other family members did and they said that he is doing better this afternoon. He was eating more and the medicine that they gave him is working and his swelling is starting to go down. He is still really tiered from everything which is understandable. This just goes to show how blessings works. Things got really bad and they still aren't perfect however they are improving. Thank you for all of your love and support we can't tell you how much we appreciate it.

1 week
Baline and I went and saw Gary last night. He is looking good. They got him up in a chair a couple of times and he had an italaina ice and some ice chips. They don't want him to have to much more fluids becasue his kidney function isn't the greatest at the moment. He is taking fluid in however not much is coming out. So they are keeping a close eye on that. His heart is doing good however he dose still have an irregular heart beat some of the time that they are trying to control with medication. He is still in ICU and is still not out of the woods yet. The hospital is asking that only immediate family members visit. He needs as much rest as possible and with having 8 kids he gets a lot of visitors. Thank you for all of your support through this trying time.

Really Really Good News
We got a call this morning from Baline's sister Shelley who was already at the hospital and she said that Gary is doing really good. They took him off the breathing machine. :) So he is breathing on his own again and Blaine even got to say hi to him on the phone. So we are very excited to hear of his great progress. Thank you for all of your continued prayers they are defiantly working.

Good News
We have some good news! They have decided that Gary is doing well enough to remove the Balloon Pump! That means that the valves are starting to operate as they should. They will still probably leave him on the breathing machine overnight, and decide when to take it out in the morning.
