Shower Time

I am so excited today I finally have time to finish up baby shower invitations for my friends Ashley's baby show in a few weeks. Life has been so crazy and today is the day I am going to get them all cut out. Blaine is still out of town till tomorrow I will be so glad when he gets home. Tomorrow I am helping with another baby shower for Blanca in our ward who is due in a couple of weeks so that should be fun. I will have to show you the pic of the invitations when I get them all done. It's amazing these baby shower's when we first started talking about them where so far away and now they are here. The summer is going by so fast. I am also trying to help with our family reunion which is in tree weeks and I have to get T-shirts printed so on Monday I have to go around and get quotes for that. So that is what we are up to. Ryan has two more days of Summer school left and then he is done till he starts school again in August. Sorry no pictures this time I will have some soon.

Fathers Day

I just want to wish all of you fathers Happy Fathers Day. I hope you have all had a nice relaxing day today. This afternoon after church Ryan Blaine and I went out to the cemetery to our surprise when we got there Emily's headstone was in place. We knew that they were going to be putting it in the next few days or so. It looks so good and I am so excited to start putting flowers there.
The grass is growing that we planted there very nicely however now that they had to dig some of it up tomorrow when we go out there again we are going to plant some more. Finally the headstone is here. It's actually in a few weeks early I am so happy. Blaine picked out the rose and we both really like the baby booties. The nice thing is I have a charm bracelet that has a pink diamond baby bootie on it that looks a lot like this one.A better picture closer picture.

Ryan helping put the flowers back in the ground. He really likes to come here and every time we leave he waves and says bye Emily.

Fathers Day Mutual

Karli getting right to work.
A couple of weeks ago we went to bishop Peterson's house and sister Peterson helped the girls make ties for their dads. Sister Truschkie cut them all out and then we used sister Peterson's sewing room to finish them up.

Alyssa looking cute as always pulling her tie right side out.Heather putting the finishing touches on her dads tie.

We even got a bonus of having Bishop teach the girls how to tie the Ties. Sisters Abbi & Amanda working together to tie the TieLena and Sister McBride chillin on the couch.Heather and the finished product. (Good job Heather I saw your dad waring this tie today at church good job)
To all the girls great job on the ties I hope your dads enjoy them as much as you all seemed to like making them.

Sunsplash

So today Irene took Ryan myself and a few other grandkids to sunsplash. So we are putting things in our locker and I am putting sunscrene on Ryan when he gets mad and goes to the otherside of the lockers. So I go to see where he went and I don't see him at all. So I go to the other side of the lockers still no Ryan. I am starting to panick and I am yelling for him walking around the front part of sunsplash. The kids went and checked the bathrooms I check outside the main gate still no Ryan. See for those who have not been to sunsplas you can see these slides from the locker then you have to walk and go over the bidge to get their. So I find who happends to be the main medical guy walking in the front and told him that I can't find my 3 year old son. He asked me how long it had been by this point a couple minuets. He asked me what he was waring and after balinking out for a mniuet I could describe what he was waring so they got on their walkie talkies and told everyone in the park to watch for him and what his name is. I am still pacing the front of the park calling his name starting to hyperventalate at this point but then my levelheadeness cought up with me and I thought I can't go crazy and started breathing agian. The medical guy told me to fallow him to the bridge and we got to the top and he told me to just stop and look around to see if I could see him. I was looking but all the kids looked the same to me. Back up a little bit after a couple min of not finding him and talking to the people at the park I called Blaine who works on Country Club and Elliott and told him he needed to come and help me look for him. Back to the story so we are on the bridge getting ready to go down the other side when I heard him crying and looked up to see him being carried by a cute blond lifegard (my son and blonds) He had wanted to go down this slide and just took off and tried to do it. The bad thing is he can't touch in that area and wasn't waring his little lifevest swimming stuff so he just jumped in and she had to jump in after him. When she didn't find his parents she was taking him back to the main office. I have never been so scared in my life. I wasn't really worried about him drowning becasue their are a ton of lifeguards however there are also hundreds of people there and I couldn't find my baby. The nice thing was this also scared him really bad to becasue he never let me out of his sight the rest of the time we were at the park. So lesson learned don't go to the park without Blaine ever again and always know what your kid is wearing. Thanks Mom for the fun day after that.

Natural Bridge Hike

This doesn't look like a long way down but the picture is deceiving
So yesterday the Young Women and Young Men from our ward went on a hike. Everyone one I talked to said that it was not a bad hike really easy. Well my back and thighs are thinking otherwise. Two of the leaders wanted to go and they are pregnant with only a few weeks left to go. They YW pres is also prego is wonder woman but is due in sept so we didn't have to worry about her having her baby. So good thing Ashely and Blanca didn't go becasue it would have not been fun delivering your babies up their.
All in all it was a neat place down in the canyon it was even COLD the hike up was a lot hard but it was a neat experience. Bishop Peterson is a crack up he had me laughing so hard it was hard to breath.Blaine and Tiffany at the bottom of the Natural Bridge (thx bish for taking the pic, DAD look at the OR hat GO DUCKS:)
Bishop trying to figure out how to get down the really slick rock. "You Can Do It"
Some of the Youth and Leaders who went on the hike. (I was taking the Picture)Let the water fight start. Who is going to get the worst of it Bishop or Sister West? ( Bishop & YW Pres Setting the example funny how non of the kids did this.=)

The funny thing is Bishop doesn't see this huge bowl full of Ice and water coming. (Thanks sister Peterson for the Watermelon sorry we ruined your camera)
Remember bishop she's pregnant so don't hurt her to bad.Getting a talking to after climbing where is had a picture of a climber with a line through it. The funny thing is the man with the green pants (shhhh is a leader :)

Cemetery

Today Ryan and I went to Jo Anns over at Riverview and we found a cute windmill to put at Emilys grave. Ryan picked it out and I asked him if we should take it and leave it with Emily and he said yes. So we went to the cemetery and to my pleasant surprise we saw that her plot is almost completely covered with grass. Our seeding it has worked. So I didn't even have to tell Ryan after we got out of the car he just went and knelt down by the other flowers that are their and he pushed the windmill into the ground. I thought that he was going to fight leaving it their but no he even said bye bye when we left. It was so cute it made me cry. We also found out that the cemetery has her headstone and it should be in sometime next week. I am so excited for that.

Look at how much grass has grown I am sooooooo excited.
