My Boys

I took some cute pictures of my boys last night and this morning that I love.

Ryan is a monster he looks scary doesn't he. How could you not love this kid.

This was so funny this morning Cam got up at 6:00 to eat.He ate a couple of ounces and then fell asleep. I was so tired from the lovely thunder I just laid Cam next to me and gave him his bottle. I got up around 7:30 to take a shower and I rolled out of the two inches of room that I had and saw this. I had to get a picture because they where both out. I knew I only had one chance to get it because I knew the flash would wake up Blaine. I was so happy when it came out. It is so cute they sleep the same way. Blaine and his mini me.

My Boys

I took these pictures this morning of the boys to send to my dad because I know he has had a tuff week. I can't believe how big my babies are getting. Ryan has gymnastics on Thursday nights with some of his cousins and Grandma Matthews so Blaine and I have been trying when I don't have to teach to go out and do something even though we have to take little Cameron with us. Last night we went out to dinner at 4:30 then went over to Joann's to look at some pillows that I want to make for our living room. On our way home Blaine drove us to the cemetery to Emily's grave. We haven't been there since January. I know that's bad but towards the last part of my pregnancy I was so miserable and then after Cameron was born we have had a lot happen. I know it's no excuse especially since she is so close. WE finally made it out there and the flowers we put their in January still look great and bright I am going to get some new ones on Monday when I am at work. We where both so excited because her spot is now covered in green thick grass.
We have been putting seed down for a while now so we where really excited. I hope to have some pictures soon. Life is getting pretty back to normal. I have started working on Monday's at Ribbons and Lace in Chandler its a lot of fun. My Grandparents get the boys on Monday's so they have fun as well. I am still teaching my hair bow classes in Mesa as well so we are staying pretty busy. Hope to have some more fun pictures soon. 27 days till Ryan starts school not that I am counting or anything.

Our 4th of July

We had a pretty laid back forth this year. It was Clipper weekend for Blaine and they had some problems with getting the product here in time to verify so Blaine and I went into his office on Saturday morning to finish things up and get them ready for Monday. After working in the warehouse for a while we where pretty hot when we got home so we just tried to cool down before we headed out for a night of fun.
This is the first time this has happened. Ryan isn't a real big fan of Cameron and will never sit with anyone who is holding Cameron so I was lucky that he came and sat with me for a few minuets then I think he realized that I was also holding Cam and so he got down. Another good new moment when it comes to Ryan and Cameron if Ryan can't see Cam in the room he asks where he is and if he is in his crib sleeping a lot of times Ryan will go and check on him, and the other day Ryan actually touched Cameron's foot and said it was little. That was a huge thing for him since he freaks out anytime Cameron touches him.

Cameron at Gma & Gpa Birds house on the 4th of JulyLook at those cheeks don't you just want to eat themCameron has rolled over but then he realizes that he is on his tummy and he hates tummy time. That's funny because when Ryan was this age he would only sleep on his tummy. (ya ya I know they aren't suppose to) So now Cam just likes to get everything over but that last arm and chew on his fingers.Waiting inside for the fireworks to start

Yes he can fit his entire fist in his mouth

4th of July at the Young's
They still only mostly have girl toys as you can see but as long as it has wheels Ryan doesn't care.
Watching the fireworks from the top of the slide in there back yard.
Ryan was in the pool from about 4 in the afternoon till 10:00 at night you can tell he is starting to get a little tired.Ryan and Kaylee throwing the glow necklaces into the pool. They where board with the fireworks after five minuets.Ready to go home and go to bed

Update It's Been A While

Cameron at 3 months old

Sorry it has been so long since I have update. Life in our house got a little crazy but we are finally starting to slow down at least for us. We have finally got everything unpacked and put away in our new place. Cameron is doing much better from his hospital stay. It took him about two weeks to get back to normal. Ryan is doing great he is still going to therapy twice a week. Speech and OT we are trying to get him into Food Therapy as well but we will see if we can get that approved. Blaine has been staying pretty busy at work.(thank goodness) I feel like I am forgetting a lot but I guess I can update more later. So I guess I will just add a bunch of new pictures.
Ryan and Mommy Fishing On Our Camping Trip.
Mommy Ryan and Cameron day at Chandler mall
We went to Chandler mall a a few months ago to get out of the heat and to let Ryan play at there play area(which is not a good one by the way it's way to small) I have been trying to get Ryan to go into Build A Bear for a while and he just would not do it he was to scared. For some reason this day he decided that he wanted to go in and he picked out a turtle to make. I think the big thing was that he wanted to "wash" the turtle .
He walked around the store for about 25 minuets for him to pick out an outfit. He found a Fishing outfit that came with a fish on the pole and everything. I was just getting ready to go pay when he said "woe woe woe mommy wait just a minuet so I stopped and he went and got this shirt thing that I couldn't tell what it was and very proudly walked over to me and said this one look it's papa bird. He found a Harley Davidson shirt for his turtle. It was so dang cute. My dad has a Harley and when he comes a lot of time he brings Ryan Harley shirts and Ryan loves them. It was so cute not only was his turtle wearing Papa's shirt he also named his turtle Ryan.
Ryan ready to go home with his new turtle.
Mr. Cool on our way to church

Cute Pictures of Mr. Cameron
Cameron found his tongue and he loves to stick it out.Look at how good he is holding up his head. You can see the drool mark on his shirt yes we are 3months old and teething oh the joy.

Dr Visits & Moving

Today we took Ryan in for his 4 well visit. He did really good even though he got 4 shots.

Ryan's Stats

Weight: 41.4 pounds

Height : 42.25"

Yes he is a big kid. Cameron was suppose to get the rest of his two month shots but we have decided to wait a couple more weeks to let him continue to get better from his hospital stay last week. Cameron does weigh a nice 16 pounds 1 ounce. He will be three months old tomorrow. He is getting to the fun stage he is smiling and cooing ad that is new for us because Ryan was such a quite baby it is a lot of fun.

On the Moving Front

Yes we have moved and yes it is a couple months earlier that we had planned on. Like everyone else it seems like in the world we are having money problem. Blaine's part time job has dried up making money very tight. To add on top of that we had our baby Cameron and then last week having Cameron in hospital has put a lot of pressure on us. We have moved into an apartment and oddly enough it is the same complex that we lived in when we first got married. We only moved a block away if that from where we where living. Yes it is i a different ward however we are staying in the ward that we are in for many reasons. The biggest one being Ryan. We have finally got him to go to primary and not cry the entire time. The other thing is that the ward that we should be in is in the same building and that would totally throw Ryan off to go to the same church and see all different people. He knows that he should see Papa and Grandma and all of his friends when he goes to church. We are hoping in the next year that we could find a house to rent in that ward because we really feel like this is the place for us to be right now.

Yes it has been a crazy month. Went camping a couple of weekends ago, Moving and cleaning the old place (I HATE MOVING) then to top it all off Cameron being in the hospital for a couple of days CRAZY. Lets hope that July is a little less eventful.

Cameron in the Hospital

Pics of Cameron in the hospital they are kind of in order.

I promised pictures of Cameron in the hospital. So here is the story. Tuesday night I went to pick up Cameron from my in laws house and noticed that he was a little stuffy but didn't think anything of it. Wednesday he was even more stuffy and wasn't happy. He didn't really sleep the night before he slept a few minuets in his swing. We got him some stuff you plug into the wall to help him breath. It didn't really work because he ended up back in his swing to sleep. I posted about Cameron being sic on facebook and my step mom who is an RN in the ER told me to watch for a fever. Up to this point he still had no fever. Thursday morning at 4am Cameron woke up not very happy and I took his temp under his arm and it was 100.8 so I told Blaine that we needed to take him in. So we got Ryan up and took him to Blaine's parents house. Then it was off to Banner Desert Children's hospital. We got in and didn't even have to wait 5 minuets before they called us back. They took Cameron" temp in his little bum and it was 102.2. They said that they were going to do a full work up on him. After a chest X-Ray, blood work, a catheter, nose suction, and an IV we just hurried sat and waited for results.
After a few minuets they moved us to our own room in the ER and that was really nice because we could close the door and it was a little quieter.
The Dr came in and talked to us and said that he has a cold and a UTI.(Urinary Tack Infection). He said that it is very common in children who are not circumcised. But Cameron is circumcised so he said that most likely the way that he got it was once when he had a poopie diaper and blew out his drawers he got some poopie on his little pee pee and the bacteria traveled up the urethra and caused an infection. He said that because it is so uncommon and he is so little that they where going to keep him for at least 48 hours and give him some strong meds to make sure that it didn't turn into a kidney infection. He said that there was no way to stop the infection. Even if you change a stinky diaper as soon as he dose it he could still get the infection. He gave him a steroid because he vocal cords where swollen from his cold making it hard for him to breath.
We finally got a bed around 3 that afternoon and then the fun started. They gave him the rest of his meds and tried to make him as comfortable as possible. The nurses and Doctors where great. Te nice thing is we had our own room so I was able to stay with him all the time. The bad thing is Cameron couldn't of waited till this fall when the new building was built because there was no Internet access but they said when the new building is built that they would have it then. Wasn't doing me any good. Cameron wanted to be help a lot and kept hitting himself in the face and with his IV so they put a little sock over the IV so he would stop scratching himself. He was such a little trooper. After we got into our room Blaine went to work for a while since there was nothing that he could do at the hospital. After work Blaine and his dad came to the hospital to give Cameron a blessing. Gary anointed and Blaine gave him a wonderful blessing. Cameron did pretty good that night with sleeping I think the Drugs helped. The next morning our DR came in and said that he was very impressed that he didn't have a fever all night and that all of his blood work came back normal. No flu (including Swine Flu) and nothing else seemed to be wrong. We where just waiting on his urine culture to come back. He said that as long as they didn't grow anything that there was a very small possibility we could go home that night. I wasn't getting my hopes up. Until heard from the Doctor I was holding everything together as long as there where people around but that night was a hard night for me. Blaine and I where talking on the way home saying that the way our luck has been the past couple of years we where both waiting for the other shoe to drop. Neither one of us said anything while we where in the hospital but we kept waiting for them to come back with something really really bad. Thank goodness that didn't happen. I am so thankful for all the prayers and for all the support that we received during this hard time.
I am happy to report that later that afternoon the Doctor called our room and said that we could go home. I was so happy I started crying. He was shocked at how fast he turned around for having such a high fever and being so sick to being just a little sick. I know that it was the power of the priesthood and all of the prayers that where in Cameron's behalf.
Cameron ha a really pretty good night last night. He is eating like crazy since he hasn't eaten much the past few days. He did gain a pound in the hospital but I am sure that is because of all the fluid they gave him. He is still not 100% but he is smiling and talking again. He is very happy to have his hands back because he loves to suck on them and study them. Thank you again for all of your support.
