Ultasound #2

So we had another ultrasound on Thursday to see how my blood pocket was doing if it got bigger or what. So far so good. I am now 10 weeks along today and they said that blood pocket is now in two different places becasue the baby has grown. You can see the pocket under the baby good on this ultrasound there is another to the left of the baby that you can only see the bottom of on this picture but it is in the shape of an oval . The good new is that it doesn't have seem to have gotten any bigger. So we are happy about that. I go in for another ultrasound in two more weeks so we will see how it is going then. She said that the baby is growing right on track. It is starting to look less like a fish becasue it has little arm and leg buds now. So we will see again in two weeks how we are all doing.

I thank you for all the prayers and support that you have all given to our family during this time. We really appreciate it all. WE are still not out of the woods yet, however things are looking better.

Dr Update

So I went to my OB today and she says that things are looking really good. She said that it is really common to have a blood pocket like I do. She has seen it a lot and says there really isn't anything to worry about until I start bleeding. There is a possibility that I won't have any problems this time around. I go back in next Thursday for another ultrasound to see the blood pocket. I am 8 weeks and three days along and my due date is March 28th. We are really excited and Blaine is handling things really better than I am. I am trying to keep a positive attitude and not stress about it but that is easer said than done. Thank you for all of the uplifting words of encouragement I really appreciate it.

Baby Baby Baby

We are officially pregnant again. We are really excited and really nervous all at the same time. we had to go in for an ultrasound to find out how far along I was because I have been really irregular with my menstrual cycle. Lying on the table my heart was beating about 50 billion miles an hour until I saw the little heart beating. They said that everything was looking good with the baby then she asked me if I was bleeding? I said no why, By this time we had already told her the story of my pregnancy with Emily and how we lost her and I almost died in January. She said that she found another blood pocket and that she was going to see if one of the Dr.'s could come in and talk to us. As soon as she left the room I lost it. I didn't know how I was going to go through all of this again. Blaine was awesome he just kept saying that nothing is wrong yet and we have a new Dr. this time who isn't going to let it get as bad as it did last time. The Dr. came in and basically told us the same thing that my last Dr said with that as the baby grows it can push that pocket out and everything will be fine, Nothing could happen, or it could cause me to miscarrie. The good thing is they found it a month sooner this time and they are going to keep a really close eye on me. I go and see my Dr. tomorrow and then I am having another ultrasound a week from Thursday. Knock on wood I haven't started to bleed yet. I will be very interested in what my Dr. says tomorrow. So we are keeping our fingers crossed that everything will work out a lot better this time.

1st Day of School

Ryan is going to EMMECC again this year. We were told that he was going to have the same teacher this year however when we went to meet the teacher we found out that his teacher had moved to a different school so we had a new teacher Miss Vanessa. He seems to really like her and she has one of the same aids from last year Miss Kimmy who Ryan really loved. Ryan goes to school on Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays. He is happy that he has the same bus drivers this year and am glad they come right to my house so I don't have to drive him to school. I asked him if he was going to go to school and he just said "Yes". He has made so much progress since he started school. We have also found a speech therapist that he sees on Wednesdays and he has made so much progress.

Girls Camp 2008

A few weeks ago I was able to go go girls camp. It was a lot of fun and better than I thought it was going to be. All that I heard about camp before I wen is how it is a week with no sleep. I don't do well with no sleep so I was a little worried. The nice thing is that our girls were smart and slept it was great. I have a few pictures I am still looking for more. I am not in any of them because I was the one taking them. I also posted a few pictures of our awesome A campers. The 4th years go to a different camp and are in tents and really camp. There fearless leader was Janna and they all came back looking like they had a blast. We had made signs welcoming them into camp as well as crowns making them our queens of girls camp.

El Paso Trip

As many may know my Gandpop Morgan passed away exactly one month after Emily. We went back to Penn. in February for a memorial service. After that they had him cremated. Since the family was coming to AZ in July they decided to bury his ashes when they came down for the family reunion. So we left mesa on Sunday morning to drive to El Paso TX. We were almost to Casa Grand when my brother asked my parents "Did we remember grnadpop?" my stepmom said of course we..... Oh My Gosh we forgot grandpop. So on the walkie talkie my dad said that we had to turn around and go back to my grandparents house to get grandpop. My grandma met us about halfway and gave us the suitcase with grandpop. So we turned around and went back to El Paso. We made it back El Paso just in time for dinner with friends. That Monday was the service for Grandpop. He was in the Navy so they had set up full navy honors for him. It was really nice and they played taps and everything. The ONLY nice thing about going to El Paso was that my little brother Ryan is also buried in the same cemetery. So we had a lot of cemetery stops this trip. All of my family was able to go to Emily's grave and see the headstone. We had hoped to show them all of the grass that we had planted however they added more dirt and covered all the grass so we planted more.
