Swimming

Last night Blaine took Ryan down to the pool and I came a long after Cameron woke up from his evening nap. We got to the pool and Ryan was so excited to show us that he could reach the bottom of the pool all by himself. He has gotten so tall I can't believe it.
Cameron was so excited to get into the water he just thought it was a huge bathtub. Ryan also wasn't as afraid of the water as I have seen him before. He was jumping off the side into the water to Blaine. We all had a lot of fun and it was so nice becasue it was dark and we didn't have to worry about getting sun burned. Ryan saw me blow bubbles and go under the water and he asked me if he could do it. So he did he was so excited to go under water he kept saying look at me it was so cute. By the time we got home and everyone got a shower we where all ready for bed. Cameron was over tired so it took him a little longer to go to sleep. If it makes them so tired I think we may have to start going swimming at night more often.

Kaylee & Ben's Wedding

This past weekend Blaine's niece got married and we where able to go up to Flagstaff for the reception. It was Blaine's crazy week at work with Clipper so we where not able to go to Snowflake on Friday for the actual wedding and we where pretty bummed about that however that would have presented problem on its own since we wouldn't of had anyone there to watch our kids and so we decided that after Blaine got done with Clipper on Saturday that we would drive up to Flagstaff. We got gone around 11:30 and that was night because we didn't think we would get gone till at least 12:30. We took our truck because we transported a kitchen table, chairs and an entertainment cabinet that where given to Ben and Kaylee. I was going to help decorate by making bows that my Sister in law Janna asked me to do. So I had Blaine drop me off at the Institute building so I cold start making them since it was about 3 in the afternoon and they where coming there at 5 to do pictures. Well things don't always happen the way that we think they will especially when it comes to a wedding as many of you know. We got there and nothing was ready and no one was there so I didn't know what to do. My other sister in law Ellen got there not long after I did and she and I went to work. Shortly after that my other sister in law and brother in law Jenny & Nate showed up to lend a hand. Janna ad to go and get ready for pictures since she is the mother of the bride we just took over and did what we could with what was there and the time we had to do it. The nice thing is everything turned out great even dealing with a 20 minuet rain storm.

Linda made a quilt for Kaylee and Ben out of the colors they used in there wedding it turned out so good we wanted to show it off and it worked out well because we used it as filler and got to show it off so we killed two birds with one stone.

The even better news was that we got it all done right before they needed to start taking pictures.

As many of you know my mother in law makes wedding cakes. Yes she did Kaylee's and transported it up to Flagstaff talk about a nail biting ride but everything worked out great and the cake made it.

What we have been up to

Some updated pictures that are a little late. Since I took Ryan to school on his first day I didn't get any cute pictures of him getting on the bus. This was the 2nd day of school and Ryan was happy to be ridding the bus again. The crazy thing is that Ryan's bus picks him up at 12:23 and is suppose to drop him off around 4:00. Well his first day of school he didn't get home till 4:50. 50 minuets late was a little restarted. I called transportation twice and I was nice the first time when they where only 15 minuets late but after being 50 minuets that is crazy. When his bus driver got here I said that the first day must be hard. She said that she was very sorry. They went to drop off a child and there mom wasn't home so they went and dropped off some other kids while transportation office kept trying to get a hold of the parent. STUPID IF YOU KID IS GOING TO BE HOME FROM SCHOOL AT 3:30 BE HOME OR HAVE SOMEONE THERE TO TAKE THEM OFF THE BUS SO OTHER KIDS AND CRAZY MOMS DON'T HAVE TO SUFFER!!!!! -K- done with that little rant but seriously you kid is gone for 3 hours be responsible. Ryan is the last kid to get dropped f in the afternoon and is usually only about 5 minuets late but with all the construction around here I am fine with it. Since Ryan has started afternoon school this year he comes home totally pooped out. Today he came home took off his shoes (no flip flops at school and he doesn't really like that) curled up in the rocking chair and said that he was ready to take a nap. I told him that I needed to go to Target before I took him to Gma Matthews and he said no Target is closed and so is Walmart we can't go. Poor kid but I convinced him that we needed to go and if he was good that I would take him to McDonald's and get him number 10. That is what he always wants when he goes to McDonald's to get his 10 piece chicken nuggets and he will eat them all on his own.

We got a new stroller because next pay period we are upgrading to a new car seat for Cameron. He has outgrown his infant carrier. The stroller that my parents got us is one that the infant carrier sits on with no seat. So I found a lightweight stroller and Ryan went and got his hammer to help put everything together. Notice that he is not wearing a shirt such a typical boy.

Our 1st time eating banana he did pretty good we are still working on the baby food. This was only the 2nd time so I guess I have to give him a break.
Ryan gets to go to Gymnastics every Thursday night with three of his cousins and Grandma Matthews. This is one of the things they do is head stands. He was so proud of himself today when I did it all by him self.

Cameron has been cutting teeth for the past few weeks now and he is really having a lot harder of a time with it than Ryan did. 1st Day of School

Today was Ryan's first day of school. This morning Ryan was really excited to go to school I started talking to him about it yesterday telling him that he was going to school. He got up and asked for eggs and that shocked me becasue he use to like eggs but stopped so I was excited and he helped me make his breakfast.He wanted two eggs

What a good little helperThe little stinker only ate two bites. I guess its better than nothing right.Ryan was so excited to go to school he was ready to go by 11:00 he didn't need to be there until 12:45 so I thought since it was a special day that we would go to lunch to McDonald's and get him his #10. Yes he eats all 10 chicken nuggets. I decided that I was going to take him for his first day since we didn't get a chance to meet his new teacher.

Ryan is still going to EMECECE this year I think it will be his last year there and then they will figure out where he will go to kindergarden next year. I am not going to think that far yet becasue that is to crazy to think mny kid will be going to a big kid school. Anyway Ryan did really good and was excited to go to school even when we got there I thought he would start crying but no he stayed pretty happy.We got Cameron out of the car and ran up to find his class becasue we where a couple of minuets late. We found his new teacher Ms.Mary and she seems really nice. Ryan kept telling me "mommy stay here" I said I could only stay for a little while. In Ryan's classroom they have the teacher and two aids and I new his teacher from last year and one of the aid's wansn't going to be there I was just hoping that Ms. Irene was still going to be there. At first I wasn't sure becasue I didn't see her the Speech teacher was there but dealing with another little boyt that moved up from the morning class with Ryan who wasn't handling things well.

So I was trying to figure out how I was going to get out of there and him not trow a fit. Then Ms. Irene came over I was so happy to see her and she was really happy to see Ryan. Ryan tried to grab on to me but he did giver her a hug and she took his hand and I told him I would see him when the bus brought him home. He said okay and never started to cry just had his sad face on. He didn't let go of Ms. Irene the entire time.Hopefully I will have a better picture after school.

Cameron is 4 months old today

I can't believe that it has already been 4 months since we have had our chunky little Cameron. In some ways it seems like he has been here forever with us in other ways it seems like we haven't ever been without him. He is having a little bit of a hard day today. He has had an ear infection and is on meds for that and then Blaine took him in today for his 4 month well visit.

Weight: 17 pounds 14 oz
Length : 27.5" long
He is off the charts for his length and in the 98% for his weight.
The Doctor said that he is the size of an average 8 month old.
Not only did he get shots the ear infection but his two bottom teeth are about to break through and he is not happy at all.
I will post more later just wanted to update you all on my huge fat baby.
