Shooting
Yesterday we went to the desert to shoot some guns. Nathan had the weekend off becasue he was going to get married but that didn't happen so we went shooting instead. Our friends Tim & Ashley came and brought their daughter Kaylee. It was great becasue Ryan had someone to play with. It was a little muddy becasue it had rained the night before and Ryan and Kaylee didn't like the mud on their shoes at all. So we put them in the back of Gary's truck with a movie, snacks, and toys so they were really happy. The shooting really didn't bother them that much which I was a little suprised about. Their was all sorts of guns:) We really had a lot of fun. I told Blaine that I want a gun now.:) He said we have to pay off my medical bills first. Thats a good way of saying I'm not getting one for a while.

1st Day of School
Today was Ryan's first day of school and we both survived it:) WE went a little early to finish up some paperwork and meet his teachers. He did really good with just me and the teachers then we had to go outside and get the other kids from the bus. He really didn't like waiting for the other kids and really didn't want to go back to the classroom he kept trying to pull me to the car. After the teacher pulled him off my leg and I could leave she said that as soon as they got the toys out he was fine. I went to pick him up and he wasn't crying and was walking with the class like the other kids. One thing we have to work on is getting him to wear his backpack like the other kids. He even tried to get on the bus when we were walking out to the car. We start the bus next week and it will most likely be another traumatic experience. We will keep you all up to date with that next week.

Scapbooking
I don't remember the last time I sat down and worked on my scrapbooks. I am so far behind it's not funny. I have been putting things together for a scrapbook for Emily with everything they gave us from the hospital. After doing nothing except sitting at the kitchen table I am almost finished with her book. My wonderful friend Jennifer let me borrow her Cricut Die Cutting machine and I have been having the best time with it. I can't wait till I get my own. I think scrapbooking will become fun again. Blaine has been yelling at me for the past two hours to quit but I just couldn't.
I have way to much stuff to do tomorrow to play with scrapbooking so it will have to wait till the end of the week. We have to take Ryan to the Dr. in the morning to get a shot before he can start school on Thursday. Daddy gets to be the bad guy because I am not strong enough to hold him down while he gets his shot.
We will let you all know how it goes in the morning. I better go and put my kid to bed now. He is such a night owl just like his dad.

He Went To Jared's
Yes he indeed went to Jared's. So this is the story behind this. the weekend after we lost the baby I guess is last weekend we went to Jared's to get my very dirty wedding ring cleaned. While I waited I looked around like any good girl dose and I found this little pink bootie charm and fell in love with it. Blaine tried to start a charm bracelet for me a few years ago for Christmas from Ryan which I really like. However that one was out of silver and it turns a lot so I have to polish it a lot. So while we were waiting I told him that this charm we should get for Emily. That it would be just the perfect reminder of her and we could add other charms for other occasions and children as the years went on. So for my birthday my wonderful husband came up with doing a group gift for me since the bracelet would end up costing a lot. So thank you to Blaine, my parent, my grandparents, Blaine's parents, Shelley & Robert for all going in on this wonderful keepsake. I love charm bracelets and I am excited to start this one for my family.

Happy Valentines
Happy Valentines a few days late to everyone. For the 1st time since Blaine and I have been together we actually went out for Valentines. Blaine and his buddy Tim conspired against Ashley and I and they planned a fun night of Dinner(we only had to wait about 15 min=) Bowling and Ice Cream. It was the funnest time I have had in a while. My bowling skills have gone down hill since high school but thats ok.

My Baby Is Going To School
So I went and had a meeting this afternoon with Mesa Public Schools. I found out that he does qualify for Early Special Education and will be attending EMECEC. How crazy is that my son will start school a week from Thursday. He can't start until he is 2 years and 9 months old. So we have a start date of February 21st. He will be going three times a week. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:15-11:45. He will also be riding the bus. (AHHH) I told them that I wasn't sure if I wanted him to ride the bus but everyone that I have talked to said that after the first couple of weeks they love the bus and that becomes the highlight of their day. I am going to take him his first couple of days because I don't want to throw him on the bus and then have him get dropped off and not know his teacher or where he is. So I will take him and let him meet his teacher and see that it is ok to go there. He should like his teacher because she is young and a BLOND. Yes my son has started early and loves blonds=). I haven't totally started freaking out yet. Give me till next Thursday after I drop him off at school.
So that is what is going on in our house at least for today. I am starting to gain more energy everyday. My appetite is back in full swing. I lost 20 pounds when I was pregnant so I guess I am going to put on all my weight that I lost plus all the weight that I should have gained while I was pregnant. I am going back to the doctor on the 5th so will have more to report after that.

Cute Ryan
Sunday after dinner Ryan went to his room and was chillin out. My camera is acting dumb so the picture didn't turn out very good but I think it is still cute. It's like he's thinking stop no pictures mommy. You can see he has a hard life. In his room watching a movie and having that big tub of popcorn.
